For Graduates
The Low Carbon KEEP programme offers graduates the opportunity to gain paid industry experience, specifically in the field that they have studied. On top of this, graduates receive weekly support from an academic supervisor with a specialism in that field, enabling them to continue to learn and develop their own expertise whilst they manage a real-world project. Projects last between 4 and 18 months .

Am I eligible to work on a Low Carbon KEEP?
Typically a graduate has completed a Bachelors degree in the past 5 years; however there are special circumstances in which the business will request an exceptional set of skills. Under these conditions the programme will look to employ a person that has completed a masters, MBA or PhD. Alternatively if a this level of education is not required, the minimum education level to qualify as a Low Carbon KEEP asociate is NVQ Level 3. Details about this can be found on individual job advertisements.How long will the job last?
Projects last between 4 and 18 months. You will be expected to work on the project for its duration. It is a great opportunity to make a good impression with a business and prove to them how good you are at your job. It is not unusual for businesses to hire graduates following a Knowledge Transfer Partnership.How do I find a position with a Low Carbon KEEP?

Where will I work?
You will spend your time working at the East of England based business participating in the partnership. Your role will be to act as a conduit for information from a university or college expert. All businesses will be within the East of England counties: Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, SuffolkWho will hire me?
The university or college working on the project will be your employer. They will be in charge of hiring and paying your wages. However, the business involved will participate in the hiring process.Graduate Benefits
