The following projects have been approved to receive the Low Carbon KEEP grant

To project manage the process of achieving the environmental accreditation ISO14001 by April 2011 as well as completing other related tasks such as work towards the Investment in the Environment award, updating and progressing the company's travel plan and manifesto.

To design and implement a business information system to re-engineer our processes and reduce our waste and carbon emissions and those of our clients.
Phoenix Product Development Ltd
To design and develop a pre-manufacture prototype air-pump to reduce vibration, size and cost and to embed new technologies into Phoenix for use in their air flush toilet system.
JEB
To reduce the overall resource consumption, including time, skills and paperwork, in the development of medical devices by creating a documentation process for their qualification and validation.
Lota Training Ltd
To research, design and implement a business process improvement programme capable of analysing and redesigning the organisation's workflow in a resource efficient manner in order to offer a wider range of effective commercial services.
Wolfrace Wheels Ltd
To research and implement an effective e-commerce system that will enable the company to exploit the B2B and B2C markets in a carbon efficient and resource efficient manner.
Essex Insulation Holdings Limited
To research, design and implement an effective e-marketing strategy in order to reduce our carbon footprint, enter new markets and increase company profits.
Calex Electronics Limited
To design a new infrared temperature sensor that will enable a significant reduction in carbon emissions to be achieved by both Calex and its customers.

Incinerator Replacement Technology Limited (IRTL)
The replacement of incineration and rendering with an environmentally friendly alternative. This project will focus on the microbiological safety, especially prions, of the process so that the remains can safely be returned to the environment.
Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP
To reduce carbon emissions of the company and its clients through specific resource efficiency actions, including business process redesign, that enable Fisher Jones Greenwood to undertake more legal aid work, whilst maintaining service quality, ensuring financial sustainability and reducing carbon output.
Marchant Manufacturing Ltd
To research, design and implement a business process improvement programme capable of analysing and redesigning the organisation's manufacturing processes and work practices in a resource efficient manner in order to reduce carbon emissions whilst increasing output and production without increasing costs.
Pursuit Dynamics plc (PDX)
The AlgaSON project will facilitate testing and development of the PDX sonic fluid processing system for obtaining biofuels, and potentially other CO2-neutral products of commercial value, from algal biomass.
