The following projects have been approved to receive the Low Carbon KEEP grant. Read below for a brief description of the projects' goals and overall nature
Cross Keys HomesTo project manage the process of achieving the environmental accreditation ISO14001 by April 2011 as well as completing other related tasks such as work towards the Investment in the Environment award, updating and progressing the company's travel plan and manifesto.

Phoenix Product Development Ltd
To design and develop a pre-manufacture prototype air-pump to reduce vibration, size and cost and to embed new technologies into Phoenix for use in their air flush toilet system.

To research, design and implement a business process improvement programme capable of analysing and redesigning the organisation's workflow in a resource efficient manner in order to offer a wider range of effective commercial services.
Wolfrace Wheels Ltd
To research and implement an effective e-commerce system that will enable the company to exploit the B2B and B2C markets in a carbon efficient and resource efficient manner.

To design a new infrared temperature sensor that will enable a significant reduction in carbon emissions to be achieved by both Calex and its customers.

Incinerator Replacement Technology Limited (IRTL)
The replacement of incineration and rendering with an environmentally friendly alternative. This project will focus on the microbiological safety, especially prions, of the process so that the remains can safely be returned to the environment.
Fisher Jones Greenwood LLP
To reduce carbon emissions of the company and its clients through specific resource efficiency actions, including business process redesign, that enable Fisher Jones Greenwood to undertake more legal aid work, whilst maintaining service quality, ensuring financial sustainability and reducing carbon output.
Marchant Manufacturing Ltd
To research, design and implement a business process improvement programme capable of analysing and redesigning the organisation's manufacturing processes and work practices in a resource efficient manner in order to reduce carbon emissions whilst increasing output and production without increasing costs.
Pursuit Dynamics plc (PDX)
The AlgaSON project will facilitate testing and development of the PDX sonic fluid processing system for obtaining biofuels, and potentially other CO2-neutral products of commercial value, from algal biomass.

Multitech intends to develop a unique resource efficient temporary services design system, whilst achieving recognised environmental accreditation. These will enable the company to offer and market the services it provides on a resource efficient basis.

To research, design, implement and analyse a business process re-engineering programme capable of transforming the company's manufacturing processes, work practices and ordering systems in a resource efficient manner to reduce carbon emissions and energy costs whilst increasing output, production and profits.

To design and develop a compact CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Electro- Refuelling System for refuelling of natural gas vehicles at home and at retail units.
London Drainage
The project will involve the design, development and implementation of a low carbon e-marketing strategy. This will enhance the company's online presence, identify new customers and increase the number of client and services in a low carbon efficient manner. The company has developed and utilises a number of core bespoke low carbon products and services such as energy efficient, pipe guards, toilet savers and leads the way on water saving and energy efficiency.
Climate Control South East
The project will design, develop, test and implement a low carbon digital marketing strategy. This will ensure that the company maximises its online presence, identifies and secures new customers and operated in new markets in a carbon efficient way.
Aran Services
To research, design and implement an effective Green Deal strategy to promote and incentivise the government's new Green Deal programme to new and existing market sectors. To embed a variety of new approaches across the company's operations to enable Aran Services to successfully enter the Green Deal provider market.
Incinerator Replacement Technology Limited (IRTL) (Project 2)
Investigation of the properties of a novel fertiliser product in order to demonstrate its beneficial effects in improving soil stability, reducing leachate and nitrous oxide emissions

To design a new infrared temperature sensor that will enable a significant reduction in carbon emissions to be achieved by both Irisense and its customers.

Design optimization of A NEW water saving toilet flushing system using flow control systems and sensors to increase reliability, safety, and power efficiency of the current product range and embed new technologies for use in water saving (air assisted) flush toilet system control.
I-dash
To design and embed a software as a service delivery platform using Microsoft`s Model-View-Controller (MVC) to enable the company to profit from the Software as a Service (SaaS) market. This will provide businesses with a low carbon choice on how to run their software and reduce the need to purchase hardware. This will support cloud computing, virtualization, and integrated management across the platform in a carbon efficient way.

To design a new compact infrared temperature sensor with enhanced safety features and low power consumption.
I-dash (Project 2)
Design and configure a low carbon platform to enable the delivery of the Companies Software as a Service (SaaS) portfolio to SMBs using the latest Switching, Routing and Virtualisation technologies.
Secomak
To create a modelling capability for optimising the design of heavy duty air movement impellers for the reduction of energy consumption and noise using Computational Fluid Dynamics.
Wiser Recycling Ltd
The project will refine proposed waste electrical (WEEE) reuse processes to maximise reuse tonnage, achieve higher repair rates, achieve consistent quality on resold appliances and develop apprentices to achieve targets.

To focus on the design and implementation of a business process improvement (BPI) programme capable of transforming the company?s business systems (e.g. finance/accounting, marketing etc) in a resource efficient way.
Phoenix Product Development Ltd (Project 3)
The LCKEEP project will design, develop, test and implement a low carbon digital marketing strategy to ensure that Phoenix maximises its online presence, identifies and secures new customers for its innovative new products.
The project will involve the design, development, testing and implementation of a low carbon e-marketing strategy. This strategy will enable the company to raise its profile and increase the number of business customers who will be utilising its recycling and reuse schemes.
