Smart travel
Travelling to Anglia Ruskin University by staff, students and visitors contributes to road congestion, air pollution and parking pressures. We are firmly committed to reducing the environmental impact of traffic travelling to Anglia Ruskin, and to support the global carbon reduction agenda we have implemented our own Travel Management Plan (TMP).
Our campuses reflect environmental values and we encourage 'green' thinking throughout our University. As we do not have any student parking (other than for those with a disability) available on our Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses we actively discourage travelling by car and encourage the utilisation of the variety of public transport options available.
We have produced detailed STAR (Sustainable Travel to Anglia Ruskin) Guides for our Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses, please click on your site for a comprehensive guide with information, support and guidance on the discounts and benefits available for all our students, staff and visitors so that together we can reduce out carbon footprint.
