Energy management means switch off!
We need everyone to help with our SWITCH OFF! campaign to reduce our energy demand. You can help by simply switching off appliances and lights when they are not needed, and it is safe to do so. Anglia Ruskin University is a large organisation which demands high levels of energy; with many buildings and halls across our estate having high energy requirements plus heating, cooling, lighting and water supply, and large grounds to maintain.
Over the past decade concerns over climate change have intensified and Anglia Ruskin University recognises that our activities contribute to carbon emissions and the depletion of natural resources, resulting in climate change.
By managing our energy consumption we will make a positive difference to preserving the environment. Less money spent on energy means more money to spend on education.
