The Digital Modelling research group aims to explore those areas of computer science and electronics that bridge the application interfaces between software and hardware. The main areas of interest include internet technologies (on-line virtual environments and gaming, cloud computing), digital media applications (image processing, video scene reconstruction, data visualization, technologies for supporting visual impairment, mobile device technologies), and digital electronics (controllers, system on-chip design, power electronics, and renewable energy or hybrid electric vehicle applications).
