Partnership

We are keen to develop partnerships with central government departments, public bodies, local authorities, GPs, police authorities, voluntary/community organisations, academic institutions, schools, private businesses, and interested parties wishing to contribute to positive outcomes for children and young people.

We believe that the CYRI can provide a creative and dynamic platform for the development of new knowledge and ideas around working with children and young people. Partnerships can take many forms, from exploring gaps in our collective knowledge and working up research opportunities, to identifying new products and services for the youth and childhood markets. Specifically, we can offer:

  • Opportunities for partnering the Institute on bids to major research funders;
  • Long term partnerships to evaluate the impact of policy on the lives of children and young people;
  • Opportunities to engage in knowledge networks to develop innovative new services for children and young people;
  • Networks to explore the experiences of children and young people now and in the future and how this can help shape policy and practice.

In addition we can provide academic and research expertise to knowledge transfer partnerships and other initiatives that promote academic/employer collaborations.

If you are interested in working with us, we would be interested in hearing from you.
