Associate Research Assistants
We have six associate research assistants (ASA) all between 16 - 21 years of age. The ASA's role is a paid role and they assist in the design, implementation and evaluation of research projects carried out in or through the Institute into children and young people's lives. The ASA's are involved in all stages of the investigation and work across London and the South East.The current associate research assistants are:

Public Engagement Advisors
The public engagement advisors (PEA) are in place so the Institute can ensure that the voices of children and young people are represented in the development of our research agenda and our ideas are 'youth proofed'. The PEA's are trained in three key areas; Research Ethics; Basic Research Skills; Reviewing Proposals.The role of the CYRI public engagement advisors is to:
- Help researchers with the design, implementation and evaluation of their projects
- Share research findings with other young people at their home organisation and beyond
- Promote CYRI related work at youth forums, events and conferences to highlight the work of the Institute and connected research groups
- To work on their own research projects
