CoDE Fellows become Visiting Fellows!

Dr Seb Franklin
Dr Leah Tether
CoDE Fellows, Dr Seb Franklin and Dr Leah Tether, have recently been installed as Visiting Fellows one day a week at the Universities of Sussex and Durham respectively. Both Fellows are working on large collaborative project bids at these institutions with a view to increasing CoDE's external profile as a centre for excellence.

Seb's main focus in his Fellowship is a project on the historical emergence of the network diagram from its origins in early neuroscience to ubiquity in almost every field from the 1930s-present, which will hopefully lead to a BA small grants proposal and a Wellcome Library Fellowship, as well as a larger bid in the longer term.

Leah's project foci are the Lindisfarne Gospels Digital Arts and Future of the Book projects being led by the CODEC Centre at St John's College, Durham. If the bids for these projects (which will be made to the Arts Council, AHRC and Heritage Lottery Fund) are successful, these projects should lead to the establishment of a digital pilgrimage route from Lindisfarne to Durham, a seminar series and a touring digital arts exhibition.
