CoDE ventures 'Beyond the Soundtrack'

'Beyond the Soundtrack', a project led by Reader in Fine Art and CoDE afilliate Dr David Ryan, is to receive seedfunding from the Cultures of the Digital Economy Research Institute.
The project, which examines the relationship between sound and film/video in the wake of developments in the sonic arts and related technologies, has already yielded numerous outcomes such as the films 'Via di San Teodoro 8' (2010) and 'Knots and Fields' (2010). The CoDE seedfunding will enable additional research and travel to secure European collaboration in the project.
