"Network Landscapes: Sound, Space and Subjectivity"
Teri Rueb, Professor of Media Studies, University of Buffalo
Teri Rueb's interactive sound walks, sculptures and site-specific installations explore landscape, architecture and spatial aspects of sound. Her work that engages digital, architectural and traditional media and modes of production has been exhibited and commissioned internationally.
Talk 2:
"Tactilist Media: experiencing places through mediated touch"
Erik Conrad, Visiting Assistant Professor, University of Buffalo
Erik Conrad's work investigates the relationship between a phenomenal understanding of the body with individual and collective experiences and understandings of space. His writings and installations exploring the relationship between gesture and vision, mobile tactile displays and tactual media have been presented and exhibited internationally.
