Last night's CoDE-sponsored Future of the Book panel, as part of the Festival of Ideas week, went off extremely successfully, with over 100 in the audience, and a panel of world-class speakers - Richard Fisher, from CUP, John Thompson, from Polity Press, Chris Hamilton-Emery from Salt, and Juan Lopez-Valcarcel from Pearson. All four are developing innovative digital publishing ideas within their companies, and the variety under discussion made for a very dynamic evening.

We've hopefully made some great new connections for CoDE, and promoted our existence and remit to a receptive audience!
