Studying CCNP
CCNP overview
The Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) program teaches the advanced skills required to manage end-to-end converged network infrastructures and prepares students for the Cisco CCNP certification and enterprise networking professions.Students would be expected to complete a Cisco CCNP module per semester.

Please note that students will not be able to enrol for CCNP TSHOOT unless they have completed CCNP ROUTE and CCNP SWITCH. The preferred path would be CCNP ROUTE then CCNP SWITCH then CCNP TSHOOT.

Location of study
We offer this program as a blended learning course where students have remote access to the curriculum and an online networks laboratory called NETLAB. We also provide mentored sessions on a Wednesday evening at our Rivermead campus where students can get support and access our local networking equipment.Benefits of becoming an Anglia Ruskin University student

Entry requirements
- Applicants must have a recent CCNA qualification or have successfully completed the CCNA program as a Cisco Networking Academy student.
- You should also have access to a computer for study purposes as all of the course materials for CCNP are online. Due to the nature of these materials, the computer should have broadband (or equivalent) access.
- You should be prepared to study for up to 4 - 5 hours per week for this course.
Course duration
Each module begins at the start of each semester in either September or January and continues for 14 weeks. Staff support will be available for a minimum of 20 hours during that 14 week period. All students will be required to complete their current module within that period. Any students completing a module before the end of the 14 week period will not be able to start the next module until the following semester.Course fees
