Projects

Growth Beyond Borders

Our most exciting project starting in 2013 is the 'Growth Beyond Borders' - an aspirational 5-year joint initiative focusing on the promotion and support of productive entrepreneurial activity with the aim of increasing the level of cross-border trade between, initially UK and South Africa.

The project is supported and facilitated ABSA (Barclays Bank in South Africa which forms part of Barclays plc global group of companies), business accelerator, Seed Engine, as well as Stellenbosch University. Through the Black Economic Empowerment funded government scheme the project has the intention to extend through the African continent by 2015.
