Penguin Design Awards 2012
Once again, Cambridge School of Art students have shone in the most important UK design for publishing awards. Following quickly on from our students' success in the MacMillan Prize for Children's Picturebook Illustration, the Penguin Design Awards 2012 featured one our MA Children's Book Illustration students and one of our BA (Hons) Illustration students.
The 1st Prize winner in the Puffin Children's Prize, for designing a cover for an edition of Grimm's Fairy Tales, went to undergraduate student Tim Parker, while the 2nd Prize in the Penguin adult fiction category went to MA graduate Alison King.
Many congratulations to Tim and Alison who emerged from an overall field of over 1500 entries.
