MA Children's Book Illustration graduate named in The Guardian's 'Books of the Year'
Nicola Killen, who graduated from Anglia Ruskin University's MA Children's Book Illustration course in 2009, has featured in The Guardian's 'Books of the Year' round-up.
Her storybook Fluff and Billy (Egmont) was described by Julia Donaldson as having "...beautiful illustrations and a satisfying patterned text." The story focuses on the relationship between two penguins, who have to restore their friendship after a disagreement.
Nicola previously won an Egmont Publishing Award for Not Me, which was produced as part of her diploma project.
