Crowds flock to inaugural Festival of Illustration
The first Cambridge Festival of Illustration drew large crowds to events at the ARU campus and Heffers Bookshop in Trinity Street, Cambridge. Quentin Blake's fascinating account of his work on current projects was attended by a sell-out crowd of over 400.
These photographs are from the Art of Illustration panel discussion at Heffers. Chaired by Martin Salisbury, the evening featured discussion and reflection between several generations of illustrator, in the form of John Lawrence, Alexis Deacon, James Mayhew and David Hughes.
