Make your ambitions a reality with Anglia Ruskin

Nine out of ten of our graduates start their career within six months of graduation[1]

Focus on a career from day one: Whichever course you choose, we'll help you work towards a career, including the option to take our entrepreneurship module. We also run a start-up academy, mentoring programme and other enterprising initiatives to sharpen your competitive edge.

Be inspired by committed lecturers: Excellence rubs off. We're proud of our bright and highly motivated tutors. Our teaching staff hold or have been nominated for a number of prestigious higher education awards, either for teaching itself or their subject expertise. To this, add our growing reputation for world-leading research.

Get ahead with the latest facilities: As a student at ARU, you'll benefit from our modern university's facilities - from the latest forensic science labs and recording studios to simulated hospital wards and theatres, and even a mock courtroom. We've invested over £122 million in our campuses over the last five years. We'll be adding a further £98 million to keep pace with innovation.

Make the most of our industry links: Our close working relationship with over 2,000 organisations a year opens the door to placements and career opportunities for our students.

Enjoy yourself along the way: We're home to happy students. Many of our courses have a 100% satisfaction rating (2013 National Student Survey) and our Student Services Team was rated the UK's best (Times Higher Education Awards 2012).

£1,200 towards the cost of your degree

How we can help you

You'll automatically receive at least £1,200 in study support over your degree for most of our undergraduate courses. This is based on a typical three-year course. The funding is part of a UK government programme.

Further financial help
There are a number of other ways we provide financial support, especially for our students from a low-income household or who show high academic or sporting achievements. We offer reduced tuition fees, cash bursaries, our own National Scholarship programme and study support packages. Amounts vary and depend on individual circumstances and A Level results, so the best thing to do is get in touch and we'll go over your options.

We also hand a Book Plus card to all our students, which can be used with John Smith's, our campus bookshop. You or your family can top up the card to spend it online or in store for any books or study materials you need. You can also use it to sell your books back to John Smith's, putting the money towards whatever you need next.

Calculate your financial support

Our finance pages also outline the other support you might be entitled to while studying including grants, allowances, government funding and loans. They also include information for NHS students.
