Be inspired by committed lecturers: At ARU, you'll be part of a thriving community of people keen to get on, led by some of the most enthusiastic and interesting tutors in the country[1]. Our teaching staff hold or have been nominated for a number of prestigious awards, either for teaching itself or their subject expertise. To this, add our world-leading reputation for scholarship in a number of important areas.

Get ahead with outstanding facilities: You'll benefit from our modern facilities - from forensic laboratories to multimedia and recording studios; art galleries to four university libraries open to you 24 hours during term time. We've invested over £122 million in our campuses over the last five years. We'll be adding a further £98 million to keep pace with innovation.

Take advantage of our industry links: Each year we support over 2,000 organisations, who are always looking for bright, talented people.

Enjoy yourself along the way: You'll find us in three vibrant cities - at Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough - with options to study elsewhere, too. And with an outstanding Students' Union, supporting over 140 clubs and societies, your experience will be all the richer.

Study in a vibrant city centre

Our campuses are inspiring places to study and lively places to live.

As one of the largest universities in the east of England, you can explore your options. Pick one of our city-centre campuses at Cambridge, Chelmsford and Peterborough.

Take a look around

Each campus has a different feel. Cambridge is steeped in history, culture and stunning architecture. Peterborough is fast establishing itself as a leading global authority on environmental and sustainability issues. England's newest city, Chelmsford, was recently voted one of the top ten places to live in the UK. All three cities are within easy reach of London, so a day trip to the hustle and bustle of the capital is only a train ride away.
