Postgraduate research
For the first time the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences has over 100 research students, who contribute to an active and vibrant research community.
A number of research clusters have been established, the majority of which are engaged in cross-Faculty interdisciplinary and collaborative research.
All of our research students have access to a dedicated Faculty resource/common room.

NB the Faculty envisages that a full-time research student will invest a minimum of 30 hours per week in the research degree and a part-time student 15 hours per week.
