All of our postgraduate courses build on recognised areas of strength and expertise. In the most recent Research Assessment Exercise, RAE 2008, five subjects within the Faculty of Arts, Law and Social Sciences were rated as having 'internationally excellent' research and four subject areas as having 'world-leading' research. English and History were among the top-rated departments in the country.
We offer a range of postgraduate taught courses and research degrees over five academic departments. Based in Cambridge and Chelmsford, we are less than an hour from London by train and many of our courses are taught in the evening and so can be fitted around your other commitments.
