Over decades, Rius has been a critical observer and commentator of Mexican governments established by the 'Party of the Institutionalised Revolution'. This paper will explore the deconstruction of official discourse in his graphic novels with particular focus on governmental vis-a-vis narrative images of the so called revolution.
