Partners

3rd Sector Futures has always worked hard to develop partnerships with sector organisations whose activity complements our own work around training, research and consultancy.

Anglia Ruskin University was a founder member of Social Enterprise East of England (SEEE), the network organisation for the region. We recognise SEEE's important strategic role in raising awareness of social enterprise and its innovative approach to meeting its members' training needs. As well as delivering workshops at SEEE's events, we also provided the trainers for the Micro Coaches project, which fostered peer-to-peer learning across the East of England. SEEE's chief executive, the award-winning social entrepreneur Michele Rigby, is a Visiting Fellow at Anglia Ruskin.

Since 2006, we have worked closely with Voluntary Sector Training (VST), an Essex-based consortium which runs short courses for the sector. Anglia Ruskin and VST jointly developed a project to increase awareness of, and readiness for public service delivery in the county. Our workshops frequently appear as part of the VST programme of courses, and both organisations are working on developing a pathway for sector leaders, encompassing workshops and longer accredited learning programmes.
