In 2011 3rd Sector Futures launched an exciting new course, ideal for managers in charities, voluntary organisations and social enterprises, not to mention those working in local authority or health service spin outs.
The Certificate in Higher Education: Charity & Social Enterprise Management provides an accredited route for third sector managers to acquire management skills. It consists of 6 modules:
Our first group of students completed the course in December 2012. Here are some of their comments:
"I feel way more competent than at the beginning of the course. My outlook in particular on business practise has changed."
"It's given me the confidence to investigate and consider a wider range of potential roles in terms of advancing my career."
"The course gives managers a chance to reflect on their role and think about developing their skills. The tutors have been a huge help."
The course can be completed as a stand-alone qualification, or you can progress to our BA or Foundation Degree in Charity and Social Enterprise Management
We are now recruiting for May 2013 (with workshops in Manchester) and for September 2013 (with workshops in Chelmsford).
