About the Conference
We are excited to announce the Second Faculty of Science and Technology Annual Research and Scholarship Conference, to be held at the Postgraduate Medical Institute, Anglia Ruskin University, Chelmsford campus on 23 May 2012.This year's conference will explore the following areas:
- Sustainable Health, Wellbeing & Lifestyle
- Sustainable Science & Technology
- Sustainability Scholarship
We are pleased to announce an addition to the conference schedule this year. We have allocated an hour to a Bring Your Own Slides session. FST staff and students are invited to present a short presentation to all conference delegates detailing their research or scholarly activities. We hope that this will be an informal, fun and informative session for the large and diverse audience that will be attending. There are a few simple rules to follow:
- There are ten places available within the hour that we have set aside for this session. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each presenter should present up to three PowerPoint slides in three minutes. These slides must be ready by Wednesday 16th May. Further details of where to send them, format etc will be supplied when your place has been confirmed.
- Presenters can supply additional materials to be included in the conference delegate packs but these must also be available by Wednesday 16th May.
- Any member of the FST staff and student body can apply for a place including those who are already presenting a poster at the conference.
If you would like to reserve a place to present at this session, please email fst-researchconference@anglia.ac.uk with a title and brief description of what you wish to present.
If you wish to attend, please contact Helen Kirkby.
We look forward to sharing the varied and excellent work that is ongoing in our Faculty and meeting everyone at what promises to be an extremely interesting day.
