Peter Crabtree becomes Eminent Fellow of RICS

Peter Crabtree, Head of the Department of Engineering and the Built Environment, has accepted an invitation from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) to become an Eminent Fellow of the institution.

Peter was officially welcomed to the Institution on 7 March by Alan Collett, RICS President. The award of Eminent Fellow reflects Peter's standing and achievements, and only individuals recognised within the industry as a leader in their field, whose standing is beyond question and judged to be out of the ordinary, are considered for nomination through the Eminent Route.

Peter said:

"This award is in recognition of over 30 years of working in a professional construction and surveying environment and it represents the trust shown by the RICS in both myself and the Department of Engineering and the Built Environment. To receive Fellowship is the highlight of one's professional career."
