Forensics students' "Excellent" research is rewarded in India
Forensic Science Postgraduate student Raghuraghvendra Sundarrajan has recently received an award for the excellence of a presentation given at an esteemed international forensics conference in India.
Raghuraghvendra, who studied on our MSc Forensic Science Pathway, attended the 2nd International Conference on Recent Advances in Forensic Sciences, Medicine and Toxicology in February of this year. His oral presentation based on his research entitled "Investigating force relative to stain size and spatter pattern" was well received by the conference organizers, who presented him with an award of excellence.
The conference was organized by the Indian Association of Medico-Legal Experts (IAMLE)which is an independent non-profit educational and scientific organization dedicated to building the disciplines of Forensic Science. IAMLE has over 500 high profile patrons including government officials and dignitaries from esteemed universities, colleges and academic fraternities from over 20 countries.
Raghuraghvendra's research supervisor Dr Rahul Pathak, commented on his success "Raghuraghvendra performed his research work with great creativity and enthusiasm, I am pleased that his work is well appreciated"
