Ministry of Interior guests undertake intensive five-day Forensics course

Our Faculty recently had the pleasure of hosting guests from the Kuwaiti Ministry of the Interior, who visited our Cambridge campus to learn more about the latest Forensic Science theories and techniques taught within our Department of Life Sciences.

The delegation of four ministry officials undertook an intensive five-day short course in February delivered by staff from our Forensic Science pathway and focusing on the subject areas of drugs and toxicology and chemical analytical techniques. The hands-on course allowed the group to gain valuable knowledge and learn useful techniques that they will be able to apply in their roles with the Ministry.

Whilst their study was certainly intensive, the delegation also took advantage of the opportunity to explore some of the famous sights located on the doorstep of our Cambridge campus.
