Sidath Jayasekara (Sri Lanka)
BEng (Hons) Electronics
“I am so glad that Anglia Ruskin has given me the wonderful opportunity to study Electronic Engineering as an international student with a passion for technology. My past few years at Anglia Ruskin have been one of the greatest experiences of my life. I have enjoyed campus life very much. I found the welcome week was very useful and informative. I have gained many important skills which will be useful in my future career as an electronic engineer, including theoretical and laboratory practical skills. ”
Fatima Arooj (Pakistan)
MSc Computer Science
“The course has been great. I particularly enjoyed the 'Developing Web Applications' and 'Research Methods' modules. When I first arrived, I was a bit worried that my writing skills might not be good enough for a postgraduate course, but I've had lots of support from my module tutors, and the University Library also provides really good skills sessions to help you improve - I'm really proud of the progress I've made.”
Lueei Aljumaat (Qatar)
BSc (Hons) Architectural Technology
“I wanted to be amongst the first from my country to study this subject. I like the Technology part as it involves all aspects of Architecture. My plans are to finish my degree with honours, go back home and continue with my company for three to four years and develop it, and then I would like to come back to the UK to study a Masters degree and maybe a PhD later on.”
Marques Hardin (United States of America)
MSc Sound Engineering
“I chose Anglia Ruskin as I wanted to be as well rounded in Audio and Video techniques as possible, and a similar level course isn't readily available in the United States. The campus is really nice and clean, and everything you need is easily accessible. My lecturers were very passionate about the course topics and worked well with students. It has been a great experience.
”
Ali Subratty (Mauritius)
BOptoms Optometry
“The lecturers are available whenever there is a part of the course which is not clear - from early mornings in their office to late nights through emails. This, coupled with the rich resources in terms of textbooks and study spaces offered by Anglia Ruskin's library, means I can say that studying at Anglia Ruskin is a pleasurable experience.”
