Director of the University Eye Clinic

Alongside his role as the director of the University Eye Clinic, Peter is also Head of the Visual Function and Physiology Research Group and a Senior Lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University. Peter is also a College of Optometrists council member representing the eastern region, and is a chief examiner, assessor and member of the non-EEA and Scheme for Registration Assessment Boards at the College of Optometrists.

Neil Guest MBa BSc FBDO

University Eye Clinic Manager and Dispensing Optician

Neil is an Anglia Ruskin University graduate who worked for large multiples and small independents on the high street before starting work in the University Eye Clinic.

Neil is now in his 12th year as Clinic Manager and is a fully registered Dispensing Optician with the General Optical Council and The Association of British Dispensing Opticians. Neil has a wealth of skills and knowledge in optical dispensing, customer care and practice management.

Harminder Matharu BSc

Optical Dispenser & Low Vision Community Support Worker

Harminder performs a dual role, job sharing with Nicola Dover here at Anglia Ruskin and also working for a local charity, Cam Sight. Harminder is very empathetic, listening to patients needs attentively in both roles. At Cam sight Harminder works as an Outreach Community Support Worker for visually impaired people in and around Cambridge.
