Qualifications

Robert Conway was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Optometry at the City University in London in 1980. A year later he received his General Optical Council registration and Membership of the College of Optometrists. Mr Conway studied for an MPhil at the City University in London and received his award in 1987.

Between 1982 and 1984 he worked as a lecturer in clinical optometry at the Department of Optometry of the University of Benin in Nigeria. From 1988 until 1992 he was a senior lecturer in Contact Lenses and Practice Management at the Department of Optometry of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In 1999 he joined the Department of Optometry and Ophthalmic Dispensing at Anglia Ruskin University as a part-time senior lecturer.
