Qualifications

Paul McCarthy was a Licentiate of the Royal Chemical Society before qualifying and registering as a Dispensing Optician in 1987. He is an ABDO practical examiner. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). He was an ABDO practical and theory examiner for many years.

He spent 17 years with a large multiple as practice manager, dispensing services manager and senior optician. During that time he developed and delivered dispensing training programmes and CET lectures.
