Personal Profile / Teaching Experience
I attained my degree in Optometry and Vision Sciences in 2002 from City University, London. Following years in hospital and private practice, I returned to City University to undertake research and am currently in the final stages of my PhD. From January 2007 - May 2010, I was a visiting clinical supervisor and assessor for the undergraduate second year clinical skills module and third year paediatric clinic. I am also currently a visiting lecturer on the MSc Diabetic module, City University.Research Interests
- Acquired visual function and colour vision loss in subjects with ocular and systemic conditions (ARMD, Diabetes, MS and Glaucoma)
- Congenital colour vision deficiency and assessment
- Establishing new colour vision, occupational standards
- Employing colour vision as a diagnostic clinical tool
