Qualifications

Liam Kite qualified as a Dispensing Optician in 1987 and spent the next 13 years in practice working in various roles for Dollond and Aitchison. He then worked on secondment to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn for 2 years between 1988 - 1990 where he ran the Low Vision Clinic. In 1995 he took over the running of the optometry clinic in the Leicester Royal Infirmary Hospital.

Liam Kite has been an ABDO practical Examiner since 1989, a correspondence course tutor since 1989, and a theory examination examiner since 1997. He is also a course tutor for the Worshipful Company of Spectacle Manufacturers for both receptionists and optical technicians. Liam joined Anglia Ruskin University in April 1997.
