Dr Holly Price, MCOptom, PhD

Dr Holly Price gained her Bachelor's degree in Optometry from the University of Bradford in 2001. Upon graduating from Bradford Holly completed her Pre-registration training as an Optometrist and worked several years for Boots Opticians. Holly's PhD investigated the effect of age and accommodation on Myopia Progression in 14-21 year olds as part of the Cambridge Anti Myopia Study. Holly completed her PhD in 2010 and commenced a post-doctoral fellowship at VERU on a systematic review of literature on blindness and visual impairment, for the Vision Loss Expert Group of the Global Burden of Disease study.Holly is currently undertaking lab based research within VERU in the field of myopia development.
