BSc (Hons) Psychology 2008 - present

Anglia Ruskin is a brilliant, really friendly University. I'm a first year student and chose to study Psychology here as the degree was BPS, British Psychological Society, accredited and as a resident of Cambridge (and a mature student) I was familiar with the campus.

The lecturers have really created a learning environment that makes contact with them easy, they are all involved in research in a variety of fields so a wide knowledge base is available for students. I am President of The Psychology Society which has been great fun and next year's plan of activities looks even better. I have learnt so much in the first year and I'm already looking forward to the rest of my degree.

BSc (Hons) Psychology 2006 - 2009

The psychology department is excellent, with wonderful teachers and great facilities. I would recommend studying Psychology at Anglia Ruskin to anyone who is serious about the subject and wants to challenge themselves.

I believe I have received tremendous help from teachers and staff. We have some great technicians in the Psychology department and all of the teachers are available to give advice and support (both regarding academic work but also on career plans and postgraduate study). I can really see the dramatic improvement that has occurred both in my academic writing style but also my ability to be critical and to have a strong argument 'flowing' through my reports.

The Psychology degree is great fun, you will learn so much including how to write high standard scientific reports, how to design and conduct a scientific research study and to work as a team with colleagues in your year.

BSc (Hons) Psychology 2005 - 2008

Anglia Ruskin University is located in a beautiful area, and everyone is so friendly. Psychology was something I always wanted to pursue, and after meeting the lecturers and seeing the labs at an Open Day I knew I wanted to study here.

My tutor Dr Catherine Jansson was amazing, and with her energy she spurred me on, even during stressful points. The course covered every aspect of psychology, which helped me to make decisions about my future career. My dissertation project really allowed me to explore and use different equipments (the Psychology labs are brilliant). Now I am able to say I researched this...found that.... which looks really good on my CV.

I would definitely recommend the Psychology degree, I loved every second of this course, it's a shame the three years went by so quickly.
