Research Interests

  • Models explanatory of anxiety and depression in childhood with a focus on (1) developmental theories of the acquisition of cognitive skills (i.e. inhibitory control, emotional reasoning) and (2) symptom specificity
  • Intergenerational transmission of mental health problems in chronic conditions (diabetes, chronic pain) focusing on positive psychology (i.e. acceptance, emotional regulation) in predicting resilience in the child
