Research Interests

My research interests broadly encapsulate the psychosocial challenges faced by people who are suffering with chronic ill health conditions.

My PhD aims to explore the process through which women disclose their HIV positive status within an intimate partner relationship. I draw on the work of Goffmans 'spoiled identity' to make sense of how the women manage their stigmatized identity in this context . For this enquiry I am utilizing mixed methods methodology.
