Open Days

If you are thinking about studying psychology, whether you are a school-leaver, a mature student, considering full-time or part-time study, then come and visit us during one of our university open days.

We have four University Open Days during the year, where you can visit our psychology department and..

  • Speak to staff about the course, and get advise about what to study and entry requirements.
  • Find out more about the content of our modules taught on our psychology degrees
  • Have a tour of our laboratory facilities
  • See demonstrations about some of the equipment that we use, for example, the eye tracker, visual illusions, and some neuropsychological tests.

School Visits

If your psychology class at school wants to find out more about studying psychology and what its all about, then we can organise a school visit.

During a school visit, you can find out about:
  • Student life at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge
  • Speak to staff about studying psychology and what careers there are in psychology
  • See some of our equipment - for example the eye tracker, some visual illusions, even a lie detector! Can you cheat the lie detector?
  • You can also have a tour of our department and some of the facilities at university.

We hold school visits during June and during October.
