Norfolk & Suffolk Planning Skills Series

In partnership with the Norfolk Planning Officers Group (NPOG) and Suffolk Planning Officers Group (SPOG)
The Norfolk & Suffolk Planning Skills Series is a series of 12 quality planning delivery and skills workshops for Norfolk and Suffolk councils. The fifth series has been sponsored and made possible by a consortium of fifteen councils compromising eight Norfolk and eight Suffolk councils, in partnership with the Norfolk and Suffolk Planning Officer Groups.
Staff and Councillors from partner councils should book via their Council Co-ordinator from their council's allocation of places for each workshop.
Other delegates need to complete the external booking form.
The workshops are designed particularly for:
- Council Planning Officers
- Wider council/public sector staff and Councillors working on planning and related issues
- Other planning/developments professionals, so is also open to people from other organisations
The workshops combine:
- coverage of key current and future challenges
- addressing skills issues, linked to the target audience
- expert speakers, followed by discussion
- case studies of best practice, including local examples
- appropriate practical exercises in a day skills workshops
