Personal Profile / Teaching Experience

After working for SMEs in a variety of IT roles ranging from design of computer interfaces for electronic typewriters to managing a timeshare computer services I went on to lecture at North East London Polytechnic. I did this for about 17 years as it changed names several times before ending up as University of East London. I moved to what is now Anglia Ruskin University in 2001. I have lectured in a wide range of subjects including computer architecture, networking, through programming to business analysis and management.

Research Interests

I am principally interested in the issues of project management in globally dispersed teams and the business case for cloud computing.

Consultancy and other Professional Activity

  • I have delivered various short courses in office software, computer systems and networking. I was involved for a number of years in the development of assessments for Cisco's IT Essentials courses and was for a while the contact for any assessment or course content issues

  • Cisco Certified Academy Instructor (CCAI)
