Urban and Rural Regeneration

Global changes - such as economic recession, environmental and terrorist threats and wide spread inequalities - are creating new responsibilities for planners and urbanists. This track explores how different urban, rural and suburban spatial contexts face global challenges in, across and through a wide range of different regeneration processes and practices. The main issues addressed here are:
Whilst it is anticipated that many contributors will explore these concerns in relation to the UK-Ireland context, we also welcome papers that focus on European and global experiences.
