Everyone who wishes to attend the conference needs to register and pay in full before attending the conference. All those involved in the conference programme need to register.

Registration fees

Three days (two half-days, one full day) £230
One full day (Thursday 8 April) £180

Full-time postgraduate students

One day (Thursday 8 April) £160

The three day rate includes attendance at all plenary and track sessions, lunch on each day, tea and coffee on each day, reception with wine on the first evening (Wednesday), conference handbook and abstracts. The Conference Dinner on Thursday 8 April, and local study tours, are charged separately.

The one day rate (Thursday 8 April) includes attendance at all plenary and track sessions on that day, lunch, tea and coffee, conference handbook and abstracts. The Conference Dinner on Thursday 8 April is charged separately.

Bookings are non-refundable unless a medical certificate or similar can be produced. Cancellations made up to eight weeks in advance will incur a £30 administration fee; cancellations made thereafter will incur a £60 fee. We can not give any refunds less than seven days in advance or after the event.


Conference Dinner

The Conference Dinner will be held on Thursday 8 April at The County Hotel, Chelmsford. It will comprise a three course meal (with choice), glass of wine on arrival, and coffee/tea at a cost of £32. Special dietary requirements can be catered for if notified in advance.

Accommodation

Accommodation on campus is severely limited, and will be allocated to delegates with special requirements on a first come, first served basis. A bed and breakfast package (single en suite room) is available at £40 per night. Please email Sarah Lord, the Conference Administrator, to discuss your needs.

Hotel accommodation in Chelmsford city centre fills very quickly; we therefore advise booking as early as possible.

The County Hotel offers a discounted rate to delegates attending the Conference Dinner (£70 per night single; £80 per night double), applicable to the nights of 7 and 8 April. Confirmation of your conference booking must be provided to the hotel in order to obtain the discounted rate.
