- Is there a disparity of powers and responsibilities across the different governmental and non-governmental bodies?
- The increasing role of market forces in the spatial distribution and private governance of development.
- Public-private interactions and the production of urban form.
- The need for a renewed civic engagement building on a strong and active civil society.
- How can we ensure a more effective and reflective spatial planning and how this may help to build better governance capacity?
