Three Planning Skills Workshop Series 2010/11
Wider Short Courses in East England and other Regions
Our Department of the Built Environment is large and multidisciplinary and we deliver a wide ranging portfolio of planning and Built Environment short courses in the Eastern and other region complementing our degree, postgraduate and other courses
The recent short course focus has been on planners, housing and local authority professionals.
However, much of this specialist learning, including skills, low carbon and sustainable communities courses, is just as applicable to construction managers, chartered surveyors, architects and others involved in planning and managing development. We plan to expand both the range of built environment professionals we serve, as well as expand the range and quality of short courses.
Over the past seven years, we have delivered over 250 specialised planning learning and skill development events. We also deliver consistently high quality. In our latest detailed survey 88% of delegates rated our skills training as good or excellent, and 97% would recommend them to colleagues.
Our training partners include many private and public sector organisations, applying our knowledge and ability to help them take crucial steps to achieve their core objectives and grow. We develop and train their most important resource, their people, focusing on training gaps and future challenges.
