Child Nursing Course

Course Overview

The Child Nursing degree with Anglia Ruskin will be centered around the nursing care of children from a sick newborn to an adolescent road accident victim. The challenges are very varied, with family care and support a key element. Your practice placements may take place in hospitals, day care centres, child health clinics and in the child's home.

Employability

The University has the second highest rate of graduate employment in the region. The fact that 95% of the Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education graduates find full time employment in their chosen field (or go on to further study) speaks volumes about the quality of our courses and the passion of our students.

We received very positive feedback in our latest NMC review (December 2012). 4 out of 5 categories reviewed gained a judgment as 'good' and we were deemed 'outstanding ' in the 'fitness for practice' category.

Our child nursing course scored 94% in the 2012 NSS results.
