The aim of social work is to provide and manage care, support and protection to individuals, families, groups and communities to enable them to participate and develop in society.

The part-time BA Social Work runs over four years and equips students with the knowledge and skills to enable them to qualify as a social worker.

Because of room restrictions we regret that we cannot accept family or friends in the taster day sessions and therefore if they are interested in visiting the university, we would recommend that they attend Open Days or Open Evenings.
