BA Social Policy

My experience at Anglia Ruskin University in my first year studying social policy has been amazing. The lectures way of teaching is efficient and easy for everyone to understand. I thought the course would be overwhelming due to the amount modules given in the first year, but the lecturers made it easier for us they went through each assignment step by step making sure we knew what we were doing. Then it was down to us to go away and use our time wisely to complete the assignments and hand it in by the due dates.

I have gained so much knowledge over the past year that will stay with me for life and I know it will help me in my field of work. The tutors are always there to help no matter what question I have to ask. If you need other support there are also essay writing groups you can go to or to see a support worker, the university offers a great support system you will never be stuck. There is always help available whether it is to do with your assignments, finance or housing.

I have also gotten used living in Cambridge as I come from London it has taken some time for me to get used to living in such a small quiet town. But I have found it very nice, the people are friendly, there is a lot of stuff to do, the night life is great and because it such a small town it is easy to get around either by bike or bus.
