Why did you choose to study at Anglia Ruskin University?
I chose it because it was close to home and offered a good course for Qualified Teacher Status (eg with Masters credits).

Which aspects of your course do you enjoy most and why?

I enjoyed school placements most because I love working with children. Two school placements formed a major part of my course and I learnt so much about teaching. They were invaluable.

Has the course met/exceeded your expectations? If so, how?

It was good to meet other secondary PGCE students.

Why would you recommend your course to others?
I would recommend this course to others because of its supportive university staff and its good partnership schools.

Please tell us about any special features that you have benefited from on your course.
I was invited to Teaching Agency meetings and departmental audits, which I feel contributed positively to my professional development.

How do you feel that your studies at Anglia Ruskin will help you in your current job?
All practical teaching experience and theories as well as other elements of professional practice will help me in my current teaching job.

What are your ambitions/plans for the future, and how do you feel that your course will help you to achieve these?
I would love to become a subject coordinator for literacy, a passion encouraged by Anglia Ruskin University.

How do you rate the support offered by both our teaching and support staff?
Excellent support was available from staff, especially in regard to pastoral care.

How do you rate our facilities and resources on offer at our campuses?

University accommodation was available and managed really well and I felt very supported by the university.

How do you find fitting your studies around your outside commitments including work, family, etc?
It is difficult and good time management (and a diary!) is essential.
