Why did you choose to study at Anglia Ruskin University?
I came here because when I came to the open day I loved the look of the campus. It seemed like a friendly place to study, and I liked the look of the course.

What initially attracted you to the course?
I wanted to do something to do with education as I eventually wish to be a primary school teacher.

Which aspects of your course do you enjoy most and why?
I enjoy my lectures and seminars and working with different people, as I find my modules extremely interesting.

Has the course met/exceeded your expectations? If so, how?
The course has exceeded my expectations as I have learnt a lot about the education system which I can use in my future as a teacher.

Why would you recommend your course to others?
It gives an understanding of the education system and its history. It also informs about why we teach the way we teach and how people learn. It's a great course for anyone who wants to be a teacher or social worker.

How do you feel that your studies at Anglia Ruskin will help you in your current job?
As a student ambassador I regularly work with children of varying ages, including primary school children, my course ties in with how I have to act with the children, so it is a great benefit.

What are your ambitions/plans for the future, and how do you feel that your course will help you to achieve these?
I want to be a primary school teacher and eventually become a head teacher, so I will need to have an in depth knowledge of the education system, which my course provides.

How do you rate the support offered by both our teaching and support staff?

The support provided by the university is great, and my lecturers make my learning easier through their support and obvious passion for their subjects.

How do you rate our facilities and resources on offer at our campuses?
The facilities provided by the university are fantastic and have helped me immensely with achieving my best in my modules.

What was the favourite aspect of your non-academic life? i.e. any social/sporting activities.
Being a student ambassador has been the one of my favourite parts of being at Anglia Ruskin. I have met new people, made new friends and have been able to combine work with working with children, which I love.

How do you find fitting you studies around your outside commitments including work, family etc?
As I work for the university it is very easy to fit work around my studies which is great. The way my timetable is set means I do have the time to fit other commitments around my studies.

How would you sum up your experience of studying at Anglia Ruskin?

I have had an amazing experience at Anglia Ruskin, and it is definitely the best thing I have ever done and has helped me to become a more responsible person.
