I chose to study Early Years Professional Practice at Anglia Ruskin University due to the opportunity to undertake practice placements throughout my course. My studies are split - 50% at university and 50% in practice. I attend university 2 days a week and placement 2 days a week. I am in my second year now and thus my placements have been beneficial by linking theory to practice.

I came here because when I came to the open day I loved the look of the campus and it seemed like a friendly place to study and I liked the look of the course.

What initially attracted you to your course?

I wanted to do something to do with education as I eventually wish to be a primary school teacher.

I am currently studying Education and Childhood studies at Anglia Ruskin University, on the Cambridge campus. I am really enjoying the course which is broken down into four modules per semester. All modules are assessed through a range of methods including presentations, patchworks and essay; however there are no exams within the course.
