The Faculty of Health & Social Care would like to promote awareness of the Elder Abuse Awareness Day, which will be taking place on 15 June. This day is an opportunity to draw attention to this important subject and to the actions of the people who works to protect and prevent the abuse of vulnerable older adults.

Elder Abuse: a worldwide issue
6th International conference of the International Network for the Prevention of Elder Abuse (INPEA)
Following the Elder Abuse Awareness Day, Action on Elder Abuse and INPEA are organising a conference on 17 of June 2011. The conference will take place in London at Herbert Smith LLP, Exchange House, Primrose Street, EC2A 2HS (close to Liverpool Street Station).
